SHIPPING 

At HELMSTEDT we offer worldwide shipping. 

All orders are shipped 1-3 business days from when you place your order. All orders within Denmark are shipped with Bring or GLS. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your package. Orders from the rest of the world are shipped with UPS or DHL. Please allow 3-8 business days for worldwide shipping.

RETURNS 

It is very important for us to ensure that you have a pleasant experience shopping with us at HELMSTEDT, therefore we offer the possibility of returning your purchase to our webshop. We accept returns within 14 days, beginning from the day you receive your order.

Please note that we only accept items that are new and unused. We do not accept items that have been worn, altered, washed or come without tags and labels. In case of the return of swim wear, please note that the hygiene protection should be intact and attached, as well as the tags and labels for us to accept the return. 

If you wish to order a different style, you will need to place a new order on helmstedt-online.com as we do not facilitate exchanges through our webshop. Please follow the instructions in the 'How to Return' section to send your original order back.

HOW TO RETURN

Returning orders within Denmark:

1. Select the items you wish to return and make sure they meet our return conditions.
2. Pack the items safely and include the order confirmation slip you received with the original order. You can re-use the HELMSTEDT bag you received your purchase in but make sure the original shipping label is either removed or covered. 
3. Securely attach the pre-paid return label to the outside of your package. 
4. Hand in the package at a GLS drop-off point. 
5. For your own security, please make sure to keep the receipt of your package until it has returned to us. 

We encourage you to use the pre-paid GLS return label for an easy return process, however it is possible to ship the return on your own. Please note that the package must be shipped directly to the following address and not via DAO.

We do not take responsibility for items lost when shipping back. We therefore recommend for your own safety that you send your package as a track and trace delivery. Tracking will then be possible and waives any doubt that the parcel has been received by HELMSTEDT.

If the pre-paid return label is used, please note that 49 DKK will be deducted from the total amount of the return.

Returning orders from outside of Denmark: 

1. Select the items you wish to return and make sure they meet our return conditions.
2. Pack the items safely and include the order confirmation slip you received with the original order. You can re-use the HELMSTEDT bag you received your purchase in but make sure the original shipping label is either removed or covered. 
3. Please note, that you will have to pay for the freight yourself, when returning a package. We recommend returning by either DHL or UPS.

When you have bought the shipping label for your return, please print and place it on the outside of your package. 

Hand in the package at a drop-off point and make sure to keep your postage receipt until you have received your refund for your own safety.

lease note that the package must be sent with distribution directly to the address above. Items cannot be returned as a collect on delivery and not to a collection point address.

REFUND 

Once we have received and accepted the return, the amount of the returned item(s) will be transferred back to the same credit card or other payment method used for the original transaction. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed.

DUTIES & FEES

All applicable import duties, clearance fees, brokerage fees, local sales taxes or other additional charges are the responsibility of the customer and will need to be paid by the customer on receipt of the shipment. If tax and duties apply, you will need to pay these to release your order. In addition, local customs practices may require you to provide additional information to clear your order.
These rules vary by country. Your local government determines duty and customs charges.

CLAIMS

As a customer you have the right to return items with manufacturing defects. Items will be accepted if the goods are sold and delivered with defects that appear.
